Former Barca target arrives London to finalize move

The Ekpress UK report that the Chelsea and Arsenal target has arrived London over a possible transfer.

With an inviting price tag of just 36 million pound which expires next week, the Ivory Coast international did not travel with the rest of Nice squad for their pre-season tour as he eyes a move away from France.

The 27-year old was a subject of a transfer to Barcelona last summer, but the deal fell through as the Catalan giant opted for Brazil Paulinho instead. It is now clear he would be ending his career with the French side with Fulham believed to be leading the race in the battle for his signature.

Seri, with 16 international caps, scored his first competitive goal for Nice on September 27, 2015 in his club 4-1 away win over Lique I rival Saint-Etiene.

He received the recommendation of Barcelona and Spanish great Xavi Hernandez last summer, but somehow Barca failed to agree to a deal with Nice who would go on to keep hold of their prized asset.

And now it appears he is heading toward the exit door as speculations mount over his proposed move to the Craven Cottage.

There are reports suggesting that Chelsea and Arsenal are closing monitoring his situation as both clubs look to bolster their ranks with the new English football season less than a month away.
